AoC Student Photography Competition 2010

After the brilliant success of last year’s competition, AoC is proud to launch its second Student Photography Competition. We held a College Staff Competition earlier in the year, now it’s the students’ turn to show off their talent behind the lens!

The subject categories are:

1. Students & lecturers
2. Studying together
3. On the move
4. Spectrum of ages

Entry start date: Now
Entry close date: 22 October 2010
Finalist notification: 29 October 2010

The winners will be announced at the AoC Annual Conference in Birmingham in mid-November.

Send your photos to: AoC Student Photography Competition 2010 (please see below for image specifications and competition rules).

Judging
The competition will be judged by professional photographer Sam Friedrichs and Neil Turner who will pick the winner and the two runners up. The finalists will be chosen according to the level of creativity they demonstrate in one of the categories above. Entrants can submit one photograph per category and a maximum of four photos each.

Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded to the winners:
1st Prize: £500 + your photo will be hung in AoC’s Head Office
2nd Prize: £250
3rd Prize: £100

Specifications
Please make sure that your photograph(s) meet the following specifications:

• Size: maximum file size for each image submitted is 4MB - all images that are larger than this will be rejected

• Resolution: no less than 300 dpi

• File format: JPEG only

How to enter
Complete the form attached (below) and send it, along with your photograph(s), to AoC Student Photography Competition or post your CD along with the attached form to the addess below.
